The Mazda MX5 Mark 4 luggage rack is completely removable, and requires no drilling on installation. Complete with a full size 900 mm (or 35 inch) load platform, which is of fully brazed construction for an aesthetically pleasing appearance combined with maximum strength. In addition, the load platform uses six side clamps and four suction pads for maximum security and theft deterrence.
The six custom reinforced clamps are precision engineered to fit comfortably around the narrow clearances of the Mazda's boot lid and include protective rubber inserts to shield the car's paintwork from damage.
Available either in mirror polished finish (as on the white Mazda), or in a satin black finish (as on the grey car), both are supplied with mirror polished stainless steel fittings and Allen type security hardware.
The rack also includes welded tie down attachment points for our optional custom, quick release, adjustable luggage straps, or alternatively leather belts which are available separately.
Unlike with some other luggage racks, it is not necessary to remove the luggage rack from the boot lid when operating the roof mechanism. However we would advise you to remove all luggage from the rack's load platform when doing so.
When ordering this product, please advise if your Mazda is fitted with an aftermarket boot lip spoiler or a boot mounted radio aerial.

The Mazda MX5 Custom permanent luggage rack features a fully polished load platform, and is supplied with mirror polished stainless steel support rails, polished security fittings, rubber sealing channels and full fitting instructions.
The full security of a permanently mounted luggage rack, and the ability to be traditionally mounted (upstand at the rear of the car), or reverse mounted with the upstand towards the passenger cabin (as shown).
